The Perth Mint along with Australia Post are celebrating 100 years of Duntroon, the Royal Military College of Australia which was founded in 1911.
Recognised as one the world’s leading military colleges, it proudly upholds a famous tradition of training and developing some of the country’s most accomplished leaders.
Struck by The Perth Mint in aluminium bronze, the coin’s reverse features the official Royal Military college badge incorporating the motto DOCTRINA VIM PROMOVET (learning promotes strength).
Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin’s obverse portrays the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Affixed to the envelope is an official Australia Post stamp. Postmarked for the first day of issue and includes Australia Post’s Seal of Authenticity and official number.
This PNC comes unopened in its own protective slipcase.
