Payment Options
We accept all major debit and credit cards, including VISA, Mastercard and American Express. Payments are securely processed through Stripe.
If you live in the Moreton Bay area in Queensland, local collection may be arranged by enquiry.
At this point, we don’t offer payments by PayPal, Bank Transfer, Lay-By, AfterPay or Zip Pay. However, we will be reviewing these option for the future.
Delivery Options
Our delivery costs are calculated based on the quantity, weight and size of the items you’re purchasing. We typically use three types of packaging, depending on the items.
Rigid Card Envelope (from $2)
These small envelopes are suitable for a few individual coins (e.g. loose coins in a protective slip) and small credit-card sized carded coins.
Padded Bubble Envelope (from $3-$7)
For larger carded coins and folders, PNCs or several small items, a padded envelope is generally suitable. Additional protective material is used inside the envelope to prevent damage in transit. The exact postage will depend on the weight of the items.
Note that by default, envelopes do not include tracking or insurance. As such, these options are to be used ‘at your own risk’ as there will be nothing we can do if they are lost or damaged in transit. You can however, choose to add a signature on delivery (see below).
Card Boxes (from $10)
These rigid card boxes are great for coins that come in a presentation box, coin rolls or many small items (or a combination of these). We use further bubble wrap and ‘popcorn’ filler to ensure items are packed securely from movement.
Items that are small, but valuable, may be sent in a box rather than an envelope to ensure maximum protection. We also do this, as parcels automatically attract $100 of included insurance (plus the option for additional insurance coverage) and tracking.
Large or Multiple Card Boxes
For unique large items such as multiple coin sets, or large quantities of smaller items, we will use a larger box or multiple smaller boxes, depending on the exact nature of the order. All parcels include tracking.
Delivery Extras
Signature on Delivery (+$3)
For a small additional fee, we can add a Signature on Delivery. This ensures that the item is confirmed as delivered. Please note, that if no-one is home, you may be left with a collection card, and need to pick the item up from your local Post Office. This can be added to any type of envelope or parcel.
Note that a signature adds a level of security, but does not act as insurance or guarantee you are covered in the event of loss or damage.
Insurance (from +$2.50)
For higher value orders, we recommend adding insurance to ensure you are covered from theft or damage.
Parcels are automatically covered for $100 value. Additional insurance is available for $2.50 per $100 of additional coverage.
Express Delivery (from +$3)
If you simply can’t wait to get your hands on your coins, you can upgrade to Express Delivery. The fee for this varies based on the original weight of the package.
For most parcels (up to 1kg) it will be an extra $3. For the heaviest parcels (up to 5kg) it’s an extra $7.
Express Post for envelopes is unfortunately more complicated, as small envelopes don’t attract smaller fees for express. This will depend on the weight, and starts at +$5. However, envelopes that are upgraded to Express also gain free tracking.
