More than 50 years on, here is one of the never-before-struck concept designs of the 2c piece.
This carded coin is a wonderful addition to any collection – who doesn’t want to see what could have happened? If the kangaroo was on the 2c piece, the mob of roos would never have existed. I would love to see the alternative concepts for the Mob of Roos. Certainly, a coin that is intriguing and a conversation piece.
Mintage 30,000. Uncirculated 2c coin – legal tender.
