Every year we realise the value of volunteers. In Australia, we experience floods, fires and now even pandemics. This coin has a special place in our hearts and we value the efforts that so many people make to help us get through tough times.
2011 marks the 10th Anniversary of the International Year of Volunteers and this PNC was an opportunity for Australia to join a global effort to promote community participation through volunteering.
The PNC features a Royal Australian Mint 20c coin and 60c commemorative Australia Post stamp along with the postmark Canberra ACT 2600 2nd November 2011, this limited edition PNC is a great addition to any collection.
