The Royal Mint (UK) First Ever Band on a Coin

It seems to be UK week this week, but I am under pressure to gets things done! So don’t stop me now!

We have got our hands on another first (thanks to the love of my life), perhaps as monumental as Brexit, certainly very memorable.

This is the first time ever that The Royal Mint has placed a band on a coin. These will rock you.

I would have thought Beatles would make it first, but the show must go on. Obviously, killer Queen wins!

So you can now have a piece of Queen in either a silver GBP5 proof, or you can have a brilliant GBP5 uncirculated coin.

The coin itself is awesome featuring the five instruments (i consider the microphone an instrument…) and of course the Queen logo.

However, it goes one step further. You can get the UNC coins in 4 different album covers as well. Inside there is a fold-out all about Queen and the coin itself, as well as a small poster with all the album covers.

It’s a kind of magic how well they have presented these coins. One vision has created different masterpieces that you can collect. I want it all!

Thank you to The Royal Mint for the images. You can purchase these online from them!

I really could not get Fat Bottomed Girls in there… but I tried… How many songs can you find?
